TAG Racing Honda can confirm that the contract of Charlie Nesbitt has been terminated with immediate effect.
Following a period of disappointing performances and results, the team has taken the decision to bring its partnership with Charlie Nesbitt to an end with immediate effect.
The decision follows a detailed review of the team’s performance. Despite the efforts of both rider and team, the results achieved have not met the standards and expectations.
Team manager Gary Winfield: “After a period of reflection as a team we have come to the decision to terminate Charlie’s contract. We feel that results have been below par and ultimately not what we expect as a team. This season started with a lot of promise, however, it hasn’t lived up to what we, or Charlie expected. We appreciate his efforts and wish him the best in his career.”
TAG Racing Honda will make no further comment.
