TAG Racing return to action this weekend as the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship arrives at the fast, and technical, Snetterton 300 circuit for the fourth round of the season.
Following three challenging, but encouraging, opening rounds of the campaign, the Swadlincote-based team is aiming to continue its upward trajectory across both the ZYN British Superbike and Pirelli National Superstock Championships.
Snetterton presents one of the most complete tests on the calendar, combining long straights, heavy braking zones and a challenging infield that demands precision, consistency and confidence from all riders. With three British Superbike races and another crucial outing for the Superstock contenders, TAG Racing is determined to leave Norfolk with another strong haul of Championship points.
Fraser Rogers is looking to continue building momentum after a positive end to the previous round at Knockhill and believes the team is well placed heading into the weekend. Team mate, Charlie Nesbitt, is equally optimistic about the opportunities the weekend presents, as he looks to kickstart his 2026 campaign.
In the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, Matt Truelove is aiming to build on his recent progress, and is looking to enhance his Championship points tally, as he aims to hunt down the leader, David Allingham. Jaimie Van Sikkelerus is targeting another step forward as he looks to increase his fitness following his full return to racing after injury, as the championship reaches its next phase.
Charlie Nesbitt: ”The championship is so competitive that every session counts. We’ve shown encouraging pace already this season but we just haven’t been to string a solid weekend together. Snetterton always produces great racing, I’ve enjoyed some good moments there in the past, and there are opportunities to make moves, so if we can put everything together I think we can have a really positive weekend.”
Fraser Rogers: ”Snetterton is a circuit I really enjoy riding. It’s got a bit of everything and you need a package that’s working well in every area. We’ve been making good progress as a team and every round we’ve been learning more. The goal is to qualify strongly, stay in the fight from the opening race and hopefully come away with three solid results.”
Matt Truelove: “Every round we’re getting stronger and I feel after our positive pre-season test there, I feel we’re in a good place heading into the weekend. Snetterton is a circuit where confidence is really important and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do. The objective is to keep improving throughout the weekend and challenge for a strong finish in Sunday’s race, I feel we’ll be challenging for the victory.”
Jaimie Van Sikkelerus: “The field is incredibly close, so the smallest improvements can make a big difference for us. I’ve been working hard with the team, I’m feeling stronger everyday and I’m excited to get back on track. Hopefully we can have a clean weekend, make consistent progress and score some valuable championship points.”
Team Manager Gary Winfield: ”Snetterton always presents a unique challenge because it tests every part of the package. The team has worked incredibly hard since the last round and we’ve been encouraged by the progress we’ve made in both classes.
“Fraser and Charlie continue to develop in the British Superbike class, while Matt and Jaimie have shown real potential in Superstock. Our focus is on a positive weekend, making the most of every session and in qualifying, and putting ourselves in the strongest possible position for all of the races.”
Track action gets underway on Friday with free practice before qualifying and then the opening ZYN British Superbike race on Saturday. Sunday’s schedule features two further BSB races alongside another important outing for the team’s Superstock riders, as the team looks to continue its momentum in front of the Norfolk crowd.
