TAG Racing Honda are planning their return to the British Superbike Series in 2024, with two Pirelli National Superstock 1000 machines and two British Superbikes. Recently announced Fraser Rogers echoed the Teams excitement in anticipation of the new season on board one of the TAG Honda Fireblade Superbikes.
Shaun Winfield will be taking on the first of the declared Superstock 1000 rides as he reflects back on the Superbike Pathway during the closing Round of 2023 at Brands Hatch.
Shaun Winfield said, “The Pathway Superbike for next season was a great chance to go back to Superbike and one I would have readily jumped on. However, my current season didn’t quite go as planned and the results weren’t as competitive as I knew I could be. My decision to return to the Superstock class was based purely on unfinished business. I know I can prove myself further in that Championship, and ultimately, I want to be chasing down those podium finishes.”
TAG Racing are now accepting enquiries for the currently available Superbike opportunity; team-mate to Fraser Rogers.
Gary Winfield, Team Manager said, ” We were working in anticipation of running two Superbikes in 2024, perhaps one as a Pathway. We fully support Shaun with his determination to succeed in the Superstock class, however, this still leaves the Team with the ability to run a second Superbike. It’s been great to hear Fraser talk so openly about his goals and aspirations for the upcoming season, and it has fueled our desire to find the right rider who will bring the same energy and passion to succeed.”
The Team will be departing for Spanish testing in the New Year and are now inviting serious enquiries only to race the TAG Honda CBR1000RR-R SP Fireblade Superbike in 2024.
