TAG Racing Honda ready to return to Oulton Park

Following on from a successful weekend in the Netherlands just ten days ago, the TAG Racing Honda team head to the penultimate round of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park in Cheshire prepared for battle as a foursome, as Matt Truelove and Shaun Winfield return to action joining teammates Fraser Rogers and Jaimie Van Sikkelerus back on track.

After collecting a large points haul, and season best results for Jaimie, the team head up the M6 to Cheshire confident that the set-up breakthrough that was made at Assen will transfer over, and the hunt for consistent top-8 finishes will once again resume.

Rogers and Van Sikkelerus left round nine full of confidence and are looking carry that momentum  as the pair return to Oulton Park. The opening round of the season at the same venue saw Fraser achieve points scoring finishes, with Jaimie breaking into the top 20 on his first weekend in the Superbike class. The duo are looking to improve on these results, whilst continuing to develop their Fireblade packages.

After a break of over three weeks from action, the teams National Superstock pairing of Matt Truelove and Shaun Winfield are eagerly anticipating their return to action. Both have been training hard during the break, and after a solid opening event at Oulton Park back in May, the pair are looking to pick up where they left off and bring home silverware come Sunday afternoon.

Oulton Park, based in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, has played host to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for over 25 years, and has produced some of the most iconic moments in the sports history. In just over 2.5 miles in length, it’s undulating nature is a favourite with riders and fans alike.

Fraser Rogers: “I’m excited to get back to Oulton Park, obviously we’ve already been there this year and despite struggling earlier on we’ve made a lot of progress since we were last there, and we’ve made some great changes throughout the season which has culminated in me being able to ride the bike how I want to ride it. So I’m really looking forward to it, some rain or shine, I want to be up the sharp end.”

Jaimie Van Sikkelerus: “After a good weekend at Assen I’m looking forward to Oulton Park, I really like the track and my main focus will be improving my lap time and race pace compared to our first Oulton Park race weekend at the beginning of this season.”

Matt Truelove: “I’m extremely excited to get back on track this weekend, it’s felt a long time since we last raced and I’m eager to see how we’ll perform. We didn’t have the best of weekends at Donington and I’m keen to avenge our results there. Oulton is a fantastic circuit, one I really love racing around, I’m ready to push for a podium and get the team some silverware.”

Shaun Winfield: “I’ve been looking forward to this weekend for a long time, it’s felt an age since we were last on track at Donington Park. I’ve had a good break, I’ve trained hard and my batteries are fully recharged ahead of the weekend. We have two rounds remaining of 2025, I want to end the season on a high and there is no better place than Oulton Park to do that, so bring it on.”

Team manager Gary Winfield: “We’re heading to Oulton Park with a lot of confidence after what was a great weekend for us at Assen, we made great progress with the package of both Fraser’s and Jaimie’s bikes so we’re looking forward to improving on that this weekend.

“It’s going to be great to welcome Matt and Shaun back into the garage, they’ve had a little bit of time off after not racing at Assen, and both of them are raring to go.”
